- You don't go to the doc again 'til you're 4 months old, but I weighed you this morning and you're already 14+ lbs. Way to go Blair! I'm sure that puts you somewhere in the 90th percentile again!
- Everyone comments on your size. They usually say "Wow, she's huge!" More polite people will say "Wow, she's healthy!" Either way, I take it as a compliment. I love my chubby baby!
- If I'm wearing a watch or bracelet while changing your diaper, you'll usually try to grab it. Same goes for long necklaces and pretty much anything that dangles or sparkles.
- Some days you think 20 minute cat naps here and there are perfectly acceptable. And while it makes for a rough day, it usually means a good night's sleep.
- You've learned to self-soothe with your hands. Thank heavens.
- Sophie the Giraffe is your new best friend. She saves the day when you're upset or just need a pick-me-up.
- Bath time is becoming more and more exciting for you as you've figured out how to splish and splash with your feet and hands.
- You've slept through the night a whopping 5 times now! (Yes, I'm counting). Usually from 10pm-6am, although there is no consistency in this yet.
- You are quite the jabber mouth now. You love to mimic people and yell out so your little voice can be heard. It makes us laugh so hard!
- You LOVE sticking out your tongue. It makes you laugh and coo when we stick our tongues out at you.
- Hiccups are no stranger here in our home. You usually get them after every meal.
- You continue to be a wonderful baby on our long car rides down to Mimi's house...unless you're hungry. But who could blame you?
- It's much easier to read your cries now. You have one for tired, another for hungry, one for gassy, one for I have an ouchie, and one for please just leave me alone!
- You love to talk and coo, especially on the changing table and after a good meal.
- When you're done eating and feeling pretty milk drunk you make the funniest noises, like "Umm Numm Numm Numm." As if to say, "That was so good!" Makes me laugh every time.
- You have a few favorite songs to sing. We usually sing "The Wheels On The Bus" and "Popcorn Popping" when you want to play and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" when you are tired and want a nap.
- You really enjoy hanging out strapped to me in your baby carrier (facing forward) while we make dinner. You love looking at my hands as I cut vegetables and wash things in the sink.
- You adore the Black & White books your Auntie Erin Madsen gave you. We usually read them several times a day together. No other books interest you the way these small and simple ones do.
- You have the most beautiful blue eyes. I should know, I get to stare at them all day long!

{ Dear Blair :: Three Months Old }
Every morning I go into your room to pick you up out of your crib you give me the biggest, most beautiful smiles, and this morning was no different. I usually find you all swaddled up tight, swaying back and forth trying to break free (unless somehow you Huodini-ed your way out!) Then our eyes meet and we both can't help but smile. After I've let you free of your swaddle and you stretch your arms big over your head, I take the opportunity to tickle your tummy and make you squirm. Then I slowly pick you up out of your crib, put you up on my shoulder and we snuggle for a minute as I walk to your rocking chair for the first feeding of the day. It's the most beautiful and precious moment of my day and I cherish each and every quiet morning we have together. I love you my little babe and all the milestones you've made this month. Here's a look at a few more from the last four weeks...

cute post. you are such a good mama and i hope that maybe someday i will love being woken up to a crying baby and have such a positive attitude like you... i have never been much of a morning person and am hoping that will someday change. i cant believe she is already 3 months old. oh and way to go on the great picts... i am still trying to figure out my camera and how to really do the blurry background thing... someday.
I love your post! I love Blair's cute faces she makes too! She has so much personality! You are a great Mommy and she is a happy and sweet little baby! Love you guys!
I love your by the month posts. I remember having a three month old; it's been 15 years, but I still remember. Enjoy all of your time with her. You will turn around and you have a teenager, who dates and plans the colleges she plans to attend.
I love that baby girl and it just breaks my heart to have to watch her grow up in pictures!!!!
